Since opening our doors in June 2011, our pack has continued to grow year after year! We are both thrilled and blessed to know each and every one of you, but just as a larger family brings more seats to the table, logistics need to adapt so the same level of service may continue to be enjoyed by all. Here at Prancing Pooches we strictly adhere to three main principles. These are:

1) Be good to animals (and people too).

2) Maintain the highest quality standards available within the pet care industry.

3) A firm commitment to honest and transparent business practices.

We make it a priority to frequently review our Policies & Procedures to help ensure that what we’re doing is still working, and possibly discover ways to improve. We take a proactive approach of regularly examining our cost efficiency by comparing the price of our services with those of our lead competitors, and closely analyzing our operational “bottom line” in order to assure that the value we offer our customers remains unparalleled. Because the way we see it, if there are costs that can be cut then those savings should be passed on to you. Not just because it’s the right thing to do, but because you’re family. After all, we know you’re trusting us with your home, belongings, and one of the most precious members of your family. And on our end, that means you deserve the very best.

To assist with the endeavors outlined above, on July 1st we began enforcing a clear distinction between our Dog Walking Services and Pet Sitting Services. Though these two branches have always existed independent of one another, the parameters of each department have never really been clarified (or thoroughly integrated) amongst our clientele. The description of each is as follows:

Dog Walking Services (Available 9-5, Monday-Friday): Service options primarily intended to accommodate pooch owners who may be away from home for periods extending up to 8 hours, these plans are perfect for the nine-to-fiver.

Pet Sitting Services (Available 24 hours a day): Packages created specifically for pets who may be left alone for 8 hours or more, these services are largely used by travelers and those with unique work schedules, and encompass evening, weekend and extended day/night visits.
